The Blurred Borders Healing Families story cards are designed to be used with both people who use violence and victims or survivors of family violence.

Legal Aid WA has developed these story cards in collaboration with Anglicare WA and Emama Nguda Aboriginal Corporation in Derby as a conversation starter at intake to identify current circumstances and future goals to support a case managed response to clients.

Regular check-ins using these healing family story cards allows both clients and workers to identify progress towards goals through the client’s continued engagement with the service and identify positive change and improved outcomes for their family.

These story cards could be used in conjunction with the Blurred Borders Family Violence WA Legal Resource Kit, the Bail and Criminal Process kit and the Keep em Safe Child Protection Legal Resource Kit.
